Man Wearing Blue shirt

My Story

So, my name is Olajuwon, Juwon—highly prefer Jaiye (which, by the way, means enjoyment in Yoruba, so yes, I’m legally obligated to have a good time).

For the past 10 years, I’ve been creating better design experiences, with the last 5 years solely focused on designing interfaces and, well... convincing clients that whitespace is not "wasted space."

I'd love to say

"Passion brought me here…

Okay it actually did"

I have always been drawn to the world of art and design.

Growing up, I constantly wondered how designs were made ….were the people behind them gods? (I read a lot of Greek mythology, so my imagination ran wild). I was fascinated by how design could communicate ideas, evoke emotions, and shape experiences in everyday life.

By the age of 15, I realised I didn’t just want to admire design, I wanted to be part of the movement shaping the digital world. I designed my first flyer, then another, and soon I was designing for others. But I never imagined design could be a career, not until a life-changing moment led me to embrace it fully.

I started out as a law student, then joined the military, was in the Navy for 3 years (pretty cool times, honest!) before finally realising the only thing i wanted to do was: create beautiful visuals and solve everyday problems through design. After coming back to graphic design I had an offer from a fast-growing startup for a role I had never heard of before: UX/UI Design. Since then, I’ve never looked back.

I partner with brands and innovators to create solutions that are simple, honest, and meaningful. I believe design without intention is just decoration…the real magic happens when strategy, creativity, and human behavior come together,

I love the look on a user's face when they discover an exciting new feature or product.

Beyond my work, I play pool every other weekend and I'm getting pretty good.

I'd love to say
