/ Challenge
raditional logistics providers in Nigeria often struggle with inefficiencies, leading to delays, missed deliveries, and poor communication. The goal was to create a solution that improves tracking, optimizes delivery time, and ensures a seamless experience for customers, riders, and merchants.
/ Immersion
To fully understand the logistics landscape, I conducted a competitor analysis, benchmarking Patch Logistics against major players in the Nigerian market: GIG Logistics, DHL, Sendbox, and Gokada. While all competitors had strong offerings, Patch’s focus on real-time tracking, flexible pricing, and a user-friendly platform made it stand out, with Gokada coming closest in terms of competition.

conducted interviews with potential users, delivery agents, and fleet owners to gather qualitative insights into their expectations and frustrations. This research helped shape a solution that meets the diverse needs of all stakeholders.

The UX focused on an intuitive workflow that allows users to easily book deliveries, track shipments in real time, and communicate with riders. Role-based access was designed to enhance functionality for customers, delivery agents, and fleet managers.

The new logistics platform significantly improved delivery experiences, reducing delays and enhancing tracking transparency. The platform’s automation and real-time updates helped build trust with customers and improved operational efficiency.
